Before your treatment begins I will spend some time building up a picture of your health & life style which ensures that the treatment is tailored to your own individual needs by concentrating on the areas of your feet that correspond with the areas of your body which are out of balance.
As this is a non intrusive treatment you then remove your shoes & socks & relax in my reclining chair & enjoy the treatment.
After this feedback can be given & documented in order that an on-going picture can be established, allow around an hour for this whole process.
The length of relief a Reflexology treatment can offer you is very much an individual effect but generally, initially, the closer your treatments are the quicker you build upon the effect. This can then be tailored to a maintenance treatment periodically to “keep you topped up” once the desired effect has been achieved.
Although Reflexology is non intrusive, sometimes it can be beneficial to work deeply on the blockage of crystals which can be felt in the areas of the feet where the corresponding body part is suffering imbalance, as this will cause the crystal to be broken down and absorbed back into the system, which will have been prevented by gravity previously and this can then be expelled through the body’s system thereby giving relief to the corresponding body part but this will only ever be done with your agreement otherwise pressure is always within your pain threshold.
You will only be asked to remove your shoes and socks, so wear anything you are comfortable in.
Yes. Your treatment will never be discussed by the therapist, you can tell as many people as you like though!! If you wish for me to discuss you treatment with anyone else I will need your permission first.
It is not uncommon for many clients to fall asleep during a treatment, it is not a problem, and show’s how genuinely relaxing the treatment is. You will be woken up at the end and given a few minutes to gather yourself together before needing to get up.
